1. What We Collect
When you use FawGift, we collect the following information: your name, your phone number, the recipient's phone number, your personal message, and the gift amount you enter. We also collect payment information through our payment processor SkipCash — we do not store your card details directly.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to deliver the greeting card service. Specifically: to send a WhatsApp message to the recipient with the card link, to display your card at a unique URL, and to allow you to track your sent cards via your phone number.
3. WhatsApp Messaging
By using FawGift, you authorize us to send a WhatsApp message to the recipient's phone number on your behalf. The message contains the sender's name, gift amount, and a link to the greeting card. We use the WhatsApp Business API to deliver these messages.
4. Data Storage
Your card data is stored securely in our database (Supabase). We store sender name, recipient phone number, message, gift amount, and card delivery status. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (payment processing, WhatsApp delivery).
5. Data Retention
Card data is retained indefinitely so recipients can always access their card link. If you wish to have your data deleted, contact us at fawgift@gmail.com.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment processing is handled by SkipCash, a licensed payment provider in Qatar.
